Star Trek Picard Patrick Stewart Vest

I received my mess dress jacket last week and man am I impressed! I ordered the wool variant.

The detail:

I'm not an expert on this jacket by any means, but to my eye it certainly looks the part! The main colour is an off-white/cream, rather than a pure white, and the detail stitching is on par with their First Contact jacket as I'd hoped it would be. The heavier wool makes it feel more 'real' and my understanding is that the production jackets were made of wool gabardine. The trim looks nice, and the red detailing is a match to the First Contact jacket, which is good.

The fit:

The fit matches the size chart, so you can order from that with confidence. The middle part of the jacket sits at my natural waist, in line with what you see on screen.

Value for money:

I'd say you definitely get your money's worth with this jacket. It looks and feels great!

Overall:

5/5! If I were being picky I'd say that the sleeves are a touch wide, however, that could just be my body shape in standard sizing.

Recently received a jacket from Asal Vision and it is exquisitely made. The accuracy, the stitching, and the materials are all top tier. It took a while to stitch and deliver the jacket to Bulgaria (25 days), but I don't complain because it is perfect for me.

Packaged so good, that leaving it unopened is like having a pillow.
External quality is perfect and zipper smells like brass.
Internal insulation is warm, but the black/thin transparent fabric possibly won't allow to have heavy items in inside pockets.
All in all, 9/10*

Well done! A definite upgrade from my costume/cosplay black & grey uniform jacket I\'ve had for years. Love the well-made weight to the wool material and cut and fit. Extra kudos for offering the yoke in the dark grey more screen accurate color look which makes all the difference when matching to other uniforms. The only upgrade I\'ve love to see if they ever decide to is making the department color cuffs interchangeable so one jacket can serve all the uniform tunics (red, blue, and gold).

Awesome quality very close to the original. But be careful with the size when you be an European… On Pictures you see an L but it feels like XL.

I couldn't be happier with this jacket! It really looks the part and has a nice solid feel to it, like it would be worn as part of a real uniform, and not just a costume piece. The inside pocket is a nice touch so you still have somewhere to put your phone, where the jacket has no other pockets.
It very much looks the part, and I'm glad I opted for the dark yoke.
Fully lined, so no issue with wearing a short sleeve shirt underneath which is nice.
The waist is elasticated, which adds to the snug, military/uniform style fit.

In short, 10/10, would highly recommend! This has been a unicorn uniform for me for a long time, and I'm incredibly pleased with it!

Had them make me a semi-custom version with the piping along the edge of the uniform flap. These are high quality uniforms and I definitely recommend them over others I've gotten. If you want one screen-accurate with the piping, be sure to ask them about it. They're super easy to work with.

I bought this last year and I absolutely LOVE it. The materials are of good quality and the jacket sits on you like it was tailored to you.
I'm a fat body and it makes me look reasonably slim!

Only thing to be aware of: It can get warm. This is not a thin, cheaply made polyester facsimile. It is robustly constructed, lined and with good quality materials, so holds in the warmth. So if you plan to cosplay with it, just remember to hydrate!
